Clairen is originally from Juneau, Alaska. She moved to Bend in 2010 and has lived and worked in Central Oregon for the past 15 years. She received her initial massage training from Sage School of Massage in 2011 and has since continued to deepen her scope of knowledge and experience in many different arenas. She became a certified Rolfer through the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in 2014 and obtained her advanced Rolfing certification in 2016. In addition she has studied wholistic nutrition and corrective exercise coaching through the CHEK Institute, interned with a physiotherapist in eastern Spain learning aquatic bodywork techniques, and most recently has devoted her studies to traditional Thai massage. In the past she has been a competitive off-road triathlete, a swing dancer, a world traveler, a musical theater performer and jazz vocalist. She is a life long horsewoman, animal lover, and natural fiber artist.
Every aspect of Clairen’s broad life experience informs her style of healing bodywork. She offers deep and therapeutic treatments that incorporate aspects of flow, warmth, herbal remedies and stretching. She’s passionate about working with women on their healing journeys, particularly prenatal, postpartum, elderly, and those looking for a richer sense of embodiment and wholistic wellness.
